A Silver Alert has been issued by the Metropolitan Police Department as they seek the public's assistance in locating a missing 67-year-old man who has not been seen since the weekend.
Friends and family of Franklin Davis are concerned after not hearing from him since approximately 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 29.
He was last seen in the 500 block of Lebaum Street SE on Saturday, and it was reported to the police on Monday, May 1.
Davis was described as being 5-foot-6, weighing 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing tan cargo pants, black boots, plaid shirt, black vest, and an Adidas bag.
Officials noted that he may be in need of medication.
